A Quick Tour of Cool, Creative Necklaces
I love creative jewelry designs. Here are some of the more creative necklace jewelry designs I’ve seen lately.
Swinging Pinup Girl Necklace
I love the collision of a pin-up girl and a simple chain to create this great image.
The simple balls chain is a perfect complement to the flat cut out design of the girl.
It’s a joyful full of motion design and wonderfully fresh.
It was made by “Bk and Jio.”
Go Green with this Wearable Planter
This might just be one of the coolest creative necklace ideas I’ve ever seen!
“Why should your plants stay at home? They help clean the air you breathe, are beautiful, and create a wonderful conversation starter. Carry a sprout, a succulent, or a flower you found on your morning walk.”
Colleen Jordan created the design for the Wearable Planter using modeling software. The planter is made out of 3D printed acrylic and hand finished to smooth out the appearance and texture.
Matching T-Shirts & Necklaces
The pendent is beautiful, but combining it with the cage shirt is what made me want to show this off!
This is such a fresh idea.
These designs are made by “LUFT UND LIEBE,” (translation: Air and Love).
Wrecking Ball Pendant
While I don’t dig the new Miley Cyrus look, I do respect her PR person’s ability to keep her in the limelight.
Full disclosure, though I hate the video I love the song. And in the guilty pleasure admissions department I find the parody videos hilarious. So thank you Miley for making your wretched video with the song I love so I could hear it multiple times while watching the parodies!
This necklace is a great example of how a creative jeweler can take a trending idea and make topical jewelry. I love how this designer took advantage of current pop culture. I found this online and couldn’t find the designer. So if you know who it is add it to the comments please!
Tight Rope Walking on Your Necklace
Nik Walenda blew my mind with his harness and safety net free tightrope walk across the Grand Canyon.
This whimsical piece of jewelry reminds me of Nic Walenda’s amazing feat.
I’m not sure who the jewelry artist is for this, but wherever you are I say, “well done!”
Rainbows and Flying Doves, What’s Not to Like?
When I saw this colorful and dreamy necklace it made me think of Judy Garland singing “Over the Rainbow” and this lovely cover of it by Israel ‘IZ’ Kamakawiwo’ole.
It also makes me feel that the world is getting better as we accept the different kinds of love out there.
This lovely piece is from the talented Nahoko Koyama, owner of Mixko.
