  1. I have a picture of a ring that I fell in love with. I was wondering if you could tell me how much you’d charge to make it in Sterling silver and cubic zirconia. I also have a picture of the ring that I want to have the center stone removed and put in the picture of the ring I liked. Thank you, Michelle

  2. I wear my grandma’s ring every day to work, an art deco style ring. She got it from her aunt when she was 18 or so, grandma is 90 this year. Over the years, one of her husbands took the ring to a pawn shop and pawned the diamond, last year when she gave it to me was one of the best days of my life, I will always cherish this ring, I spent about $90 to get a pink stone put in and reprong it. I don’t want to ruin the original ring by wearing it, I would love to have it reproduced In sterling silver for myself and also one for my little sister. What do you think you’d charge for something like that?

  3. I have a picture of a ring that I would like to know how much it would cost for you to replicate it.

  4. I recently bought matching rings for my boyfriend and I, and his fits perfectly and mine does not.. both rings are engraved, and I don’t want to use one of those plastic “ring sizer” things. How much would it be to put some sizing beads in away from the engraving ?

    Thank you!

  5. Good day,
I am getting married in February in SOuth Africa, and my fiance has a large knuckle his finger is 22mm and over knuckly 26mm I am looking for a Tungsten or Black modern round band with a hinge. (Clip) please advise if you can make something like this and a price.

    Kind Regards

    • Hello Alexandra,
I do not design in Tungsten or any alternate metals. I work in gold and platinum, both of which can be sized. Your fella may need a hinging ring.
      Your Personal Jeweler,

  6. Hi Calla,

Thank you for your informative website. Do you work with London blue topaz gems? If not, do you recommend any places that do in the Los Angeles area?

My bf and I are interested in designing my engagement ring with a pear shaped London blue topaz gem.

    • Hello Cindy,
Thank you for the kind words about my website.
I do indeed work with London Blue Topaz. I would say that any good designer in your area would be able to design using London Blue Topaz as it is not a difficult color to source.
      Your Personal Jeweler,

  7. I have a bi-color greenish blue 3.28 ctw unheated oval cushion cut natural sapphire I purchased many years ago. It’s value has increased some which makes me pleased. In natural sunlight I can see a tiny, Very bright, sharp gold and purple or lilac flash. Hard to see but I guess with a jewelers loop they’d be easier to notice. Can you tell me what causes that? I now am thinking of using the stone in my engagement ring with diamonds on either side. I love the stone and my fiance is from Montana. Really I wanted a center stone to match his eyes. Green. Absolutely not a Peridot. Too cheap and my birthstone. His is Aquamarine, but the dark beautiful gems are out of our range. We are older and I have a larger hand. Piano hands. Anything you can tell me is great. Thx, Lynda

    • Hi Lynda,
Your sapphire sounds very special. I’d find a local gemologist with proper magnifying equipment and lighting. They would clean the gems, inspect the gem and be able to explain the phenomena you are describing. At this distance I won’t even try.
It sounds like a wonderful choice for your center gemstone.
      Your Personal Jeweler,
