Jewelry Definition – Superfit Shanks

By Calla Gold

calla gold jewelry definition Superfit shanksSuperfit shanks open completely, enabling the ring to easily slip on and off nearly any size finger with enlarged knuckles.  A virtually invisible push-button mechanism activates the mechanism.  The Super Fit is appropriate for knuckle-to-finger differentials of over three sizes.

Hello Alexandra,
I love to share the newest and not so known wonderful solutions that my industry pals come up with.
This is a godsend for those with large knuckles.

So is this incredibly secure and comfortable? My experience with adjustable rings extends to those mood rings you can pick up at the toy store. Sure, they get over a big knuckle, but they’re uncomfortable and weak and pinchy. I’m sure the superfit shank is of a much higher quality, but is it noticeable when wearing one?

Dear Renee,
The wonderful thing about the Superfit shank is that once it is closed there is no rough parts. It feels like a normal ring with no part that can open. It is smooth and best of all it fits the way you’d want a ring to fit, that a large knuckle foils.
This is an example of invention and ingenuity jewelry style.
